Bringing History Alive provides extensive American history professional development for elementary, middle, and high school teachers in a Professional Learning Community. The project aims to increase teachers’ content knowledge and understanding of American history, while providing innovative teaching techniques and resources to create, practice, and disseminate historically rich and engaging lessons with the ultimate goal of improving student achievement in, interest in, and understanding of American history.
This project is funded by a US Department of Education Teaching American History Grant.
